In bare roots, plants, trees and shrubs are presented without container, without soil in the open air. The roots are bare rooted which means transplanting your plants should be done within 4 days of delivery.
This shipping method has an indisputable advantage, it is the price. With a short production and inexpensive to grow, prices are significantly lower. Transport is much more economical, since you do not have to pay for the excess clod, soil or pot.
If you want to plant a long hedge and/or a fruit tree, shrub, bare roots are exactly what you need. Note, however, that the percentage of loss is about 10% for bare roots. With a stimulating product to grow the roots, this percentage drops.
Plant preparation
Bare root plants are generally resting plants that we collect from the ground in our nursery for delivery.
