Ferns are deciduous flowerless plants called fronds, their seeds from spores. They are a subdivision of vascular cryptogams. There are about 13,000 species, and three-quarters of the species are found in tropical regions. Their modes of reproduction confine them to wetlands. Some tree ferns can exceed 20m in height

Advice and maintenance

No direct sun exposure. The fern nevertheless needs light. Indoors, spray the foliage daily with non-calcareous water to have beautiful ferns. Add a natural fertilizer. Overwatering is one of the major causes of indoor fern death along with heat from radiators.

Upon receipt of your plants, moisten the pot for a few minutes to rehydrate the roots. Plant immediately with or without the pot by inserting it into a suitable hole.
