West Indian Lime - Citrus arantiifolia - Country Lemon

The Limettier of the Antilles, is persistent, vigorous, whose tree, is ornamental and very floriferous. Known for its white, fragrant flowers and very juicy, acidic berries when still dark green.

This tree reaches a height of 3m50 and spreads over approximately 2m50. In the kitchen, it is a must for the preparation of cocktails, including the famous West Indian ti-punch.

Advice and maintenance

Citrus trees need a lot of heat to bloom. Bring regular watering without too much excess. In pots avoid stagnant water.

In the open ground, a neutral, slightly acidic and non-calcareous soil. Add a natural fertilizer, preferably liquid.

Upon receipt of your plants, moisten the pot for a few minutes to rehydrate the roots. Plant immediately with or without the pot by inserting it into a suitable hole.
